Method: Cream i cup butter; add $ cup sugar gradually, well beaten, egg; sift 1J cups flour, 3 teaspoons baking powder and add alternately with i cup milk. 1> lavout delectably with teaspoon Stevens 1 ‘ Cathedral Brand” Essence of Lemon, and bake 20 minutes.
