LONDON, Sept. 24,
Sir Malcolm Campbell at a dinner in celebration of his recent achievement, revealed that he had promised his wife never again to attack world speed records when once he had passed a speed of 300 miles an hour.
“I said I would give it up, and I am going to do so with one proviso: If a foreigner breaks the record I will try again, but if a Britisher goes out for it I. will do my utmost to assist him.”
