HOPELANDS SUCCESSFUL Tlio districts ’ Queen Carnival which has been running for tho past six weeks, concluded yesterday and the respective committees kavo submitted the following votes:— Hopelands, Miss W. Smith .. 21,234 Otawhao, Mrs. W. Smyth ~ 18,814 Kumeroa, Miss I>. Last .. .. 14,821) As a result of the carnival about £230 will go towards the hall improvement fund.
