Speed on Land and in Air
(British Official Wireless.) Received Monday, 9.20 p.m. RUGBY, Sept. 22,
A Napier-Railton driven by John Cobb and Rose Richards won the SOU miles race at Brooklands with an average speed of 121.23 miles per hour. The Duke of Kent's aeroplane, a Pcrcival Mew Gull, won the air race from Hat field to Cardiff at an average speed of 220 miles per hour. Cape If. W. Pcrcival was again pilot.
