Australian Amateur Golf Championships

The Australian amateur foursomes golf championship at Seaton to-day over 36 holes in which 14 pairs entered resulted in a tie between W. Rymill and IV. Ackland-Hormau 71 —7S —149 and Ross-Sawers and R. Crook 75 —74—149. All are South Australians. The former title-holders, M. Ryan and A. W. Jackson (Victorians) were runners-up witli 74 —76 —150. H. Hatters]ley and C. Nigel-Smitk (New South Wales) 77 —7? —155 were third.
Kymill, who is State champion, beat par by two strokes in the first round, sinking phenomenal putts. The professional competition over 36 holes for a purse of £3l was won by \V. Botger (New South Wales) 75 —71— 146.
The British' women golfers won five matches easily against the picked women golfers of South Australia and also won two foursomes.
