By-law Breaches In Magistrate's Court
By-law breaches were dealt with by Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court at Palmerston North yesterday. Arising out of a collision with a cyclist, William McCarty was charged with negligent driving and fined £2 and 10s costs.
For having no driver’s license Cyril Anderson was obliged to pay a 10s fine, with 10s costs.
J. E. Smith pleaded guilty to driving a petrol waggon on to a bridge where stock was being driven and was fmed £2 and 23s costs. It was stated that tho motorist caused considerable confusion on the Aorangi bridge in June last.
