Utuwai
From Our Own Correspondent. Miss D. Cheyne has now returned to Utuwai after holidaying in Feilding and Wellington. Miss M. Harkness, of Piri Piri, who has been to Auckland as a delegate to the Women's Institute conference, lias now returned home. Air M. Mackenzie, of Hastings, has returned home after spending an extended holiday with Mr and .Mrs J. Mackenzie, Umutoi. All- B. Clapliam, of Palmerston North, has been visiting Mr T. Searle, Delaware block, Utuwai. Heavy rains are following the spring weather which has recently prevailed, and the warm days have given place to colder ones again. Pastures are looking well, there being an abundance of fresh, green grass. The lambs Which are now making their appearance arc rapidly increasing in numbers.
