Messrs. Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., and Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on Johnsonville sale held on Wednesday as follows: —To an average attendance of buyers wo offered the usual yarding of cattle and largo yarding of sheep. The cattlo comprised a few pens of extra heavy bullocks, also a few pens of very light cattle, the balance being good average butchers’ cattle. Tho offering met with spirited competition at prices on a par with last week. With the exception of one pen the cows were of very ordinary quality, but sold readily at late rates. Some exceptionally good quality wethers were penned and realised satisfactory figures. No extra heavy owes were offered, but the whole yarding of good average quality sheep were disposed on a par with last week.
