COMMEMORATION DAY SPEAKER In connection with the school commemoration service next week, it was announced yesterday that lit. Rev. F. A. Bennett, Bishop of Aotea-roa, would be unable to be present to deliver the commemoration address, and arrangements have been made for Professor von ll'aast to address the gathering. The subject of the address would be the career of the late Sir Julius von Haast, the father of the speaker. The school has received from Bishop Bennett the handsome shield which he donated as a trophy for annual competition among pupils of the school- in research work on Now Zealand history
