A BLENHEIM RUMOUR Per Presa Association. BLENHEIM, July 24. Rumours are in circulation that, a poisoned chocolate caso developed at Springlands, a suburb of Blenheim, last week. The police are extremely reticent but it is known that Detective Sinclair, of Nelson, and local officers have been pursuing inquiries for some days.

it is stated l hat a Springlands resident received a box of chocolates and that investigation showed they had been tampered with, but fortunately, as the result of the publicity- given to recent cases elsewhere, none of the sweets were eaten.
