Fat Jambs: 112 b.f. shorn lambs, on account I). Collis, lxairanga, 22s 4d; 2-1 w.f. woolly, hot prime, ISs Od; IS b.f. shorn,’light but prime, lbs 7d; 100 b.f. sliorn, good line, 21s Od; 7 b.f. woolly, prime, heavy weights, 28s 3d—topped the sale; 3 w.f. woolly, prime and heavy, 23s 7d; 9 b.f. recently shorn, light but prime, ISs 7d; 5 b.f. woolly, heavy and prime, 275; 47 b.f. woolly, rather small, fair line, IDs lid. Fat wethers: 10 at 10s Od, small an l barely fat; 12 at 235, prime, fair weight and heavy skins; 25 prime, heavy, passed at 23s (id (wanted 245); 25 maiden b.f. ewes, prime, 20s. Fat ewes. 20 4-th. b.f. prime, passed at 19s (wanted 20s); 70 big, meaty ewes, 15s lid; 4 at 12s Od and 2 at 11s 9d—just ewes. Store sheep: 505 4 and 5-yr. ewes—straight line, r.w. S.D. rams Marchl2, made 23s 9d, big ewes, good mouths; do. two lambs. 210 4 and 5-yr. ewes, r.w. S.D. rams, passed at ISs, exHawke's Bay—a fair line; 44 4 and 5-yr. ewes, r.w. S.D. rams, 21s 9d, sold—a useful pen; truck of 2-th ewes, r.w. S.D. rams, passed at 265, small, 27s wanted; 450 wethers, good lino, passed in at 225. Cattle: One fat Jersey 20-month steer, sold at £2 2s Gd; one fat Jersey heifer at £3 5s was a good beast; one 20-month, super fat, sold at £2 ss; one fat Jersey cow, good, passed at £3 2s Gd (70s wanted); 65 P.A. steers passed in at £4, 21-yr., fair store condition; 3G P.A. steers passed at £4 2s 6d, 21-yr, fair order. Dairy culls: Four cull Jersey cross cows, 19s, no condition; three, fresh Jersey cows, 295; eight guaVani'oed empty, young, fresh conditioned Jersey cross cows, 28s, sold cheaply compared with most Jots; one cull, thin Jersey cow, 10s; two Jerseys 26s—justcows; one Jersey cross runner, 15months, 25s—lcillable.
