Spanish Rebels Punished
LONG TERMS OF IMPRISONMENT SEQUEL TO CIVIL WAR IN SPAIN United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. MADRID, June 5. Seven members of the Catalan Council, including Ex-President Companys, have been sentenced to thirty years’ imprisonment.
The above is the sequel to tho outbreak of civil war in Spain in October of last year when Senor Companys proclaimed Catalonia as an independent republic, which resulted in bloodshed and violence throughout the country.
