Fall to Death
Because he, was holding a hammer in his hand, a steeplejack at the top of a 140-foot high chimney stack, in Pontypridd, Wales, Avas uuablo to grasp a projection when the scaffolding beneath him collapsed, and he was hurled to death doAvn the inside of the stack, His two companions caught tho projection, a casting, and saved themselves, Tho victim Avas Douglas Bernard Wright, of Newport, son of a former Mayor of Neryport. The first to reach him at tho bottom of tho stack Avas his brother Peter. Tho chimney stack is at the Albion Colliery. Tho two brothers had carried on tho business of painting contractors and steeplejacks, in Avhich they Avoro formerly in partnership Avith their father.
