This week finds tho Old Boys seniors defending tho “Jubilee Cup” against tho fast and spectacular St. Pat’s seniors, which w>!l give patrons the thrill of tho season. Can St. Pat’s wrest the “Jubileo Cup” from their old rivals, tho local Old Boys? This season tho defenders have been victorious in all their matches with tho exception of last week when they drew with Oroua Downs, while tho challengers have only met defeat once on tho Wood\'ilo grounds and then by the smallest of margins. With two such teams opposing and both capable of football of tho highest standard the public may bo assured of a really thrilling,, fast, open and spectacular match. Patrons aro advised not to miss going to the Showgrounds as a real treat is in store this week. In addition to the foregoing thrills the curtain will be raised at 1.30 p.m. on the Oval with the meeting of Rongotea and Kia Toa. This should bo ■most interesting, as the two teams are very evenly matched.
