Notes of the Day
A Feilding trainer named Holman, while exercising a horse on the Feilding racecourse yesterday morning, sustained a fall and suffered an injury to his knee, which required his removal to the Palmerston North Hospital. His condition is reported to be quite satisfactory. As a result of a collision between two motor-cars on Kimbolton road on Wednesday night, the driver of one of the vehicles will be prosecuted on charges of driving an unregistered motor-car and of not being in possession of a driver’s license. The other party to the accident was a visitor to the district and his ear suffered extensive damage, including a broken front axle.
