From Our Own Correspondent. Tho weekly euchre and dance was held on Saturday night and once again a big crowd was present. This time the prizes went to Mrs. C. Richardson with ten points and Mr. R. Graham yith nine points. Tho consolation prizes went to Mrs. Edwards and Mr. C. Richardson.* Following tho cards, dancing was carried on, music being supplied by those present. Mr. J. Fulton keeping things moving as M.C. These evenings are so far proving a great success and everyono is looking forward to next Saturday night. Tho club held a yankee tournament on Tuesday night, Marima and. the Eketahuna clubs being well represented. The games were closely contested. The winners were C. Judd and T. Matson. Following the ping pong, a dance was hold, Misses B. and J. Perry, Mrs. Perry. Mrs. Davie and Miss C. Evans supplying the music. Mr. .T. Clarke, on behalf of the local club, thanked the visitors for their attendance and expressed the hope that their evening had been an enjoyable one. Mr. G. Saba replied for the Methodist Club and hoped that their club would be able to entertain liongomai very soon. Mr. Hunt responded for Marima. Dancing was continued till tho early hours.
