Seas (New Zealand waters): Rather rough at first on parts of the east • coast of the North Island and beconi- . ing rough about Puysegur point; else- -* where smooth to moderate. Eastern Tasman Sea: Light to mod- . crate and variable, winds to northerly .and freshening in central and southern portions. Seas smooth to moderate. Weather: Some scattered showers are still probable at times in north-etstern portions of the North Island and later also in the extreme south and west, but _ weather mainly line and rather warmer.
