Waituna West Flower Show

From Our Own Correspondent. The thirteenth annual flower show and salo of work in aid of the Waituna West Anglican and Methodist Churches was held in tho hall on Saturday. The show was opened by the Rev. L. A. Barnes and Rev. Blamires, who congratulated the people of Waituna, and thanked ail tho workers, particularly tho ladies. While tho number of entries in the cut flower anil vegetable classes was disappointing, owing, perhaps, to the dry weather, tlie entries in the other classes were quite up to tho customary standard. The decorative section was well patronised and of a particularly high order. The school children also deserve special mention for their exhibition of school work.
