Earthquake in Australia
SHAKES ACCOMPANIED BY SUBTERRANEAN THUNDER. United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. SYDNEY, Nov. 20. The township of Gunning was rocked again last night by earthquake shocks, accompanied by subterranean thunder that shook the district at intercals from 5 p.m. till midnight. A number of women ran frantically from tlieir homes, but most of the residents were calm. Many chimneys were broken and there are fallen ventilators and leaking tanks all over the town. Most of the buildings are of brick or stone and they show cracks of varying sizes.
