Winners of Tuesday’s Baking Competition
In the baking competition held .in the Opera House on Tuesday evening the first prize was won by Miss Joyce White; the second prize by Miss Irene Wallis and the third prize (presented by Messrs Tolley and Sons) Miss M. Ponkcth. A special prize presented by Mrs Jenson was won by Mrs Mowiein. A special prize was also won by Miss Eawstron.
Mrs Jensen, who hiudly acted as judge was confronted with a most difficult task as the cakes baked by all the competitors wero of exceptionally high quality.
