Notes of the Day
The reconstruction of tho section of main highway entering Fcilding from Awahuri road is rapidly nearing completion and the progress to date demonstrates tho high standard of road formation demanded by modern traffic. The work has been done to tho specifications of tho Fending borough engineer (Mr. T. K. Hay), who has provided a formation which should make for an excellent scaled surface. The permanent scaling of this important link in a main highway which passes through the town will bo welcomed by all.
