Kitchen Tea for a Bride-elect
BUNNYTHORPE FUNCTION
A pleasing social was held in trie Methodist Sunday School room on Friday evening, when a largo number of residents were present. The function took the form of a kitchen tea tendered to Miss A. Schcidt on her approaching marriage to Mr. J. Pinfold. Ihe guest of honour was attired in a pretty fawn frock of elephant The Bev. Foston presided and in a few well chosen words congratulated the youngcouple and wished them every success and happiness in the future. During the evening several enjoyable items were rendered as follow: Song, Mis. Jv. Cameron; recitation, Miss J. Cleve]v; song, Miss L. Boos; recitation, Bev. Foston; song, Mrs. Cameron; elocutionary item. Mr. J. H. Fowler; song, Miss M. Wood; recitation, Mrs. Foston; recitation, Mrs. B. Cameron. Bev. Foston presented the gifts which were opened by the happy couple, Mr. J. Pinfold making a suitable reply. -Supper was served by the Ladies’ Guild and an enjoyable evening was brought to a close by tho singing of “Auld Lang Sync.”
