Attempt to Blow Up Totalisator House
FRUSTRATED BY NIGHT WATCHMAN. United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. MELBOURNE, Nov. 17. An attempt made at midnight to blow up the automatic totalisator and power house on the Williamstown racecourse was frustrated by the vigilance of the watchman, who fired several shots at an escaping intruder. A bomb with four fuses attached was found near the power house door.
