Feilding Post Office

STAFF CHANGES M'r J. Purcell' took over liis duties as postmaster at tho Feilding Post Office on Tuesday afternoon in succession to Mr C. Clark. He was very cordially welcomed at a gathering of the staff, when the opportunity was taken to farewell Sir W. D. P. Norris, who leaves to-day for Wellington on promotion. Mr Phillips, accountant, voiced the regret of the staff at the departure of Mr Norris and at tho samo time extended congratulations upon his promotion. He presented Mr Norris with a barometer and a case of pipes as a token of goodwill and esteem from the staff.

Mr Norris suitably replied thanking the gathering for its good wishes to himself and Mrs Norris.
