Many Bodies Found Under Bank of England

VICTIMS OF GREAT PLAGUE LONDON, Sept. 19. Human remains, representing 800 bodies, were discovered in the rebuilding of the Bank of England, and 98 complete bodies were re-interred at the Bank’s expense. The bodies were mostly of victims of the plague of 1065. The excavators also found the body of Jenkins, the Bank of England giant, who was interred in tho Bank precincts to prevent bodysnatchcrs from stealing the corpse.
