Evening Bridge Party Has Pleasing Success
With the object of raising funds towards the expenses of the Catholic committee dance to be held next month a most successful bridge party held at the residence of Mrs P. E. I’lood, Massey street, on Wednesday evening. Eight tables were occupied and Mrs Hood received the. guests wearing a pretty frock of pink and white checked organdie. Those present included Mrs .A. E. Mansford, Mr and Mrs T. J. Eodgcis, Mesdamcs E. Ct. Sim, McGill, S. Trask, P. llanlon, Nicliol, Barry, Dickcl, Wilson, Lundquist, W. Tapp, A. M. Ouglov, Gibbs, C. Hayward, Mr and Mrs Dixon, Mr and Mrs Stevens, Mr and Mrs Jamieson, Messrs P. G. fctockwel), I. ■Rodgers, and Austin, Misses Kearns, D’Atli, Mona Rodgers, Warren, Trehcv, St-mvOmnsc and W. Dicderich.
