Baptist Women's Mission Union

MEETING IN FEILDING. A large and representative gathering of the Palmerston North branch attended tho Baptist Women’s Missionary Union meeting held in the Feilding Baptist Church ou Wednesday afternoon, when a very warm welcome was etxended to Airs l'uge, wife of the new pastor. The president, Airs E. G. Shearer, in a few well-chosen words, welcomed the guest. Airs Allen presented Airs Page with a beautiful bouquet and Airs Whitehead presented another for Aliss K. Page, who unfortunately was unable to be present owing to illness. A telegram came from Airs Gilbert, extending greetings to Air Gilbert’s successor and his wife.

Aliss Alooro brought greetings from Palmerston North, with a promise of hearty co-operation in any work for the good of the 8.W.A1.U. Airs Pago thanked all for their warm welcome and beautiful flowers. She expressed her willingness to help in any way needed. Afternoon tea provided by members was then dispensed, allowing an opportunity for all to be introduced to Mrs Page.

The church was beautifully decorated with spring flowers for the occasion.
