From Our Own correspondent. Juvenile «-odge. AT well attended meeting of tho Loyal Woodvillo Junior Lodge, Manchester Unity, was held on Monday evening, the Noble Grand, Bro. G. Fairley, presiding. The first installation of officers since the lodge was opened took placo when Past Grand Bro. AV. 11. Toogood, acting as Installing officer, installed the following officers:—Noble Grand, Sis. O. Toogood; Vice- Grand, Bro. AV. Toogood; Immediate Past Noble Grand, Bro. G. Fairley; Lecturo Master, Bro. M. Cullen; elective secretary, Sis. M. Spacltman; senior conductor, Sis. E. Single;- junior conductor, Bro. D. Cullen; senior ■ warden, Sis. A. Kennoriy; junior -warden, Bro. A. MacLean; guardian, Bro. A'. Hurley; pianist, Bro. T. Hume. After the installation ceremony the newly elected officers were briefly addressed by Past Grands Bros. Mackie and Young, after which the remainder of tho evening was spent in games and community singing. Fire Board. The quarterly meeting of tho Woodville Firo Board was held on Tuesday afternoon, there being present Messrs J. Elder (chairman), AV. G. Hay, A. H. Ilustwick and H. McNeil (brigade superintendent). The quarterly report of the superentendent was as follows: —Six practices had been held, all of which wore well attended. Firo plugs had been inspected and were in satisfactory order. There had been three calls during the quarter. During the quarter 200 feet ot hoso had come to hand and would bo put into good working order. Mr. A. Burlace had been elected a member of the brigade, filling tho vacancy caused by Mr. Jones' resignation. Messenger E. McNeil had been promoted to fireman, having attained tho age of IB'years. The annual ball had been held and proved to be a great success. The superintendent was requested to bring down a report on the cost of altering the present system of coupling to the instantaneous type. A requisition for a window in the sleeping quarters was referred to the local committee.
