Injured in High Dive
NEW ZEALANDER SUCCUMBS. United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph —Copyright. LONDON, Sept. IS. Alan Raymond Smith, 30, a New Zealander, with Edgar Smith, son of Mr. Stanley Smith, of Dunedin, both engineers employed by the Ouse Catchment Board, was swimming in the Hunstanton pool. Alan did a high dive and apparently struck another bather. Ho was found floating paralysed with spinal injuries and taken to hospital. His companion brought a specialist from London, but Alan succumbed.
