Airs. O. Williams, Elmira avenue, is visiting Wellington. Miss E. Tankcrsley, of tho staff of Russell Street School, is at present indisposed. Airs. Branson, who has been visiting her parents, Mr. and Airs. R. C. Tennont, Woodville, left this week on her return to Poverty Bay. Although still an inmate at tho hospital, Airs. J. C. Dixon, of Burns avenue, Palmerston North, is now making steady progress towards recovery. Airs. W. L. Fitzherbcrt, of Palmerston North, who has been visiting Wellington, lias returned homo accompanied by her daughter, Airs. E. -W. Alills. ♦ Aliss Griffin, matron off the Old People’s Home, Awapuui, leaves to-day to spend a week’s holiday in Wellington. Sister Kelly is relieving in her absence. Airs. G. W. Bodell, of Palmerston North, with her little son returned on the Wanganella after spending a six months’ holiday in. Sydney with her mother, Airs. A. E. Rush, and sister, Aliss Etlie Rush. Aliss Joyce Wcllwood, music specialist, has replaced Aliss Phyllis Liddell, on the staff of the Terrace End School. Miss D. Tunuicliffe, formerly of Carnarvon, has taken up her duties as an additional assistant at the Central School. Aliss E. Tankcrsley, of the Russell Street School staff, who recently underwent a slight operation, has not vet resumed her duties.
