W.E.A.

The series of lectures arranged by the W.E.A. this year promises to be of considerable interest. Various wellknown local speakers will look at civilisation from tho specialist points of view of the biologist, the psychologist, tho historian, the anthropologist, the economist, and the minister cf religion, and when all their views are compared some valuable reflections should emerge. The first meeting of the series is to be held to-night at the house of Dr. Dry, who will take the biologist’s standpoint. Tho address is 3 Karaka street (off Park road), and all interested arc invited. Dr. Dry holds strong views on eugenics, and his opinions should be particularly interesting. Subsequent meetings will be held in the Commerce Buildings.
