WELLINGTON, Last Night. An anti-cyclone covers most of the Tasman Sea and Ncav Zealand, but the pressure is stilt' rather low to the eastward, also off the northern Neiv South Wales coast. Winds: Light to moderate southerly, later becoming variable and tending to easterly in the far north. Seas (N.Z. waters): Considerable southerly swell between Akaroa and East Cape; otlierivise smooth to moderate. Eastern Tasman Sea: Light to moderate southerly Avinds aud moderate seas. Winds veering to freshening easterlies. Seas rising in the northern portion. Weather: Pine generally, but a few isolated showers at first on tho coast between Cape Palliscr and East Cape. A cold night, with many frosts, but milder day temperatures.
