Bandits’ Desperate Break
SURPRISED WHILE RIFLING HOUSE. United Press Association. —By Electric Telegraphy-Copyright. WARSAW, June 15. Surprised while rifling the bedrooms of a wealthy manufacturer, two bandits phot their way from the house, and escaped in a taxicab, which the police car had overlooked. In a running fight, four pedestrians wore killed and eight wounded. The bandits ran into a shop, where they withstood attack until an armoured car and machine-guns broke down their resistance. They were found dead, riddled with bullets.**
