During the show, members of the Palmerston North Railway, Palmerston North Ambulance and Palmerston North Nursing Divisions of the St. John Ambulance Brigade were on duty at the Winter Show to deal with accidents. The condition of Mr. H. Dunn, of Oroua Downs, who, as a sequel to tho recent tragedy at Karerc, sustained very severe head injuries, is still practically unchanged. Mr. Duuu, after being unconscious for a whole week, became semi-conscious and lie is still in this state. It says the site is an excellent one, but the sandstone formation is lamentably lacking in tensile strength to resist the bursting force of water when only reinforced with two inches of junito lining.
