Crushed by the falling limb of a bluegum tree, which was being trimmed, Mrs. Roland Graham, of Tolaga Bay, was reverely injured. Seven men had difficulty in extracting her. Her condition yesterday was reported to be fairly comfortable. Harold Bunn, who was admitted to the Public Hospital on Tuesday morning, as a result of a motor-cycling mishap on tho Palmerston North-i'oxton main highway, had not regained consciousness at an early hour this morning. An interesting question raised by an originating summons taken out by the Public Trustee as executor was answered by Mr. Justice Reed in a reserved judgment delivered at 'Wellington yesterday. It was whether or not George Bryce, of Wellington, brother of the late Jeanie Boyd, of Marton, was entitled to interest accrued during her lifetime on moneys she had on deposit and ’which, in her will, she bequeathed to him. His Honour held that the accrued interest did not pass to deceased's brother.
