Illegal Taking of Trout
MAN BE.7OEE COURT ON THEBE CHARGES Per Press Association. ASHBURTON, Last Night. At the Police Court Richard Harri6son was fined £7 1 Os, with costs £3 16s, for stroke-hauling trout at the mouth of the Rakaia river on March 2. He was convicted and ordered to pay 12s costs for using a rod other than provided under the regulations, and was acquitted on a charge of having resisted a ranger in the execution of his duty.
