The attention of readers is drawn to an announcement regarding a plain and fancy dress carnival to be held on Tuesday next, Juno 12. This is an effort being arranged for the benefit of the All Saints’ Children’s Home. A professional orchestra will provide the music, prizes will be given for the best fancy costumes, and theso will be judged by Mrs. Mansfoid, who, with the Mayor (Mr. A. E. Mansford) has signified her intention of being present. A good floor, good music and supper are promised. The function will commence at 8 p.m. and close at 1 a.in., and prices of admission will be: Ladies Is Gd, men 2s. This worthy object deserves good support.
