Septuagenarians Seek Romance in City Mission
AGED WIDOW AND WIDOWER WED I’cr Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. A widow in her eightieth year and a widower in his seventy-ninth year were married in tho AVellington City AHssion chapel to-day. The contracting parties were William Anderson, aged 78, of Wellington, and Airs. Jane Ericsson, aged 79, a widow, also of Wellington. Anderson, who arrived at the City Mission ten minutes before the lime set for the ceremony, was in jovial mood and talked freely about “my girl.’’ He lias 15 grandchildren and his bride has 31 grandchildren and 24 great-grand-children, one of whom is to be married shortly.
