Water Tank Crashes Through Three Floors
THREE MEN KILLED AND OTHERS INJURED. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. Received Wednesday, 11 p.m. CHICAGO, May 22. Three men were killed in a unique accident and several men and women were injured when a 300,000-pound water-tank on top of a seven-storey building broke from its supports and crashed directly through three floors. The bursting tank poured out 40,000 gallons of water, which rushed through the building like a tidal wave.
