NOMINATIONS DUE NEXT 'WEEN, The Woodville District Jockey Club’s summer meeting is to bo hold on Saturday and Monday, December 9 and 11, and nominations ioi all events are due to cose at 9 p.m, on Friday, November 24. The club has increased the stake money for the meeting and as Woodville, one of tho most important meetings held just prior to Christmas, affords trainers an opportunity of racing their charges on a first-class course, large entries should be forthcoming for the various events. The principal first day ra.ces are the Bolton Memorial and Oete Handicap, and on the second, tho Gothard Memorial and Railway Handicap, and there is a juvenile ’s race on the programme for each day, Handicaps are due to appear on December 1 and first day acceptances will close on Tuesday, December 5TRENTHAM TRACE WORK, CARTERTON CANDIDATE SENT AGAINST WATCH.
