Cluny MacPherson and His Band

PLAYING FOR MASQUERADE BALL. Following a very successful introduction into Palmerston North at the Regent Theatre last night the Cluny MaePherson Royal Ambassador Stage Band has been secured to supply tho dance music at tho coming masquerade ball. Without a doubt this is the finest combination that has over visited Palmerston North and their performances last evening amply demonstrated this. Both individually and collectively the members of the band are experienced and finished artists and all have complete mastery of their respective instruments. The band is at present touring New Zealand under the direction of Messrs. J. C. Williamson and Cov., Ltd., and special arrangements have been made to enable them to play for what will be a major event in the current Queen Carnival.
