Clarrie Rayner, of Blenheim, 1933 New Zealand amateur featherweight champion, in his first professional contest, outpointed Harry Donkin, of Hastings, in a 15-round bout. Both weighed in a-t 9.1. There was a fast and clever exhibition, full of action.
