Sunday Excursion to Wanganui
The Railway Department announces the running of an excursion to Wanganui and back on Sunday, November 5. This is the first one-day excursion of the kind between these cities and on a day. that does not entail absence from business or other work. The return fare is only 4s which works out at well under id per mile. The excursion train is timed to arrive in Wanganui just after midday and leaves Wanganui on return at 5.14 p.m. An advertisement appears in this issue.
