Women's Division Opposes Central Bank
At a meeting of the Wellington Central Provincial Executive of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union at Marton on Tuesday, tho following resolution was carried: “That this executive supports tho Farmers’ Union in protesting most strongly against the Government’s expressed determination to proceed with the passage of the Central Reserve Bank Bill despite protests from all sections of the community.”
