Bride and Attendants In Mary Blue

BRAYSHAW—BURNS A pretty wedding took place at All Saints’ Church, Palmerston North, on October 21, when Lola Grace, daughter of Mrs Burns, of Campbell street, and the late Mr Charles Burns, was married to Hubert Vernon, eldest son of Mrs H. D. Brayshaw and the late'Mr H. D. Brayshaw, of Church street, Palmerston North. The bride, who was given in marriage by her brother-in-law, Mr T. Crowe, looked very picturesque in a sweet, frock of Mary blue erepe do chine, with hat to match. She carried a shower bouquet of pink tulips, lilies of the valley and maiden-hair fern. Mrs Basil Hickey, who was matron of honour, was gowned in Mary blue, satin and wore a fawn hat. Her bouquet was of pink sweet peas, tulips and maiden-hair fern.

Little Valeric Crowe, niece of the bride, made a sweet .flower girl wearing Mary blue crepe do chine, and she carried a basket of pink tulips. Mr C. Priest was the best man. After the ceremony the wedding breakfast took place at the homo of tho bride’s mother, who received her guests wearing a navy blue ensemble and black hat, her posy being composed of spring flowers. Mrs Brayshaw, mother of the bridegroom, wore blue marocain with a black chip straw hat, and carried a’ posy of sweet peas. V/hcn the brido and bridegroom left later the bride travelled in a navy costume with hat to match, and 3he carried a navy handbag.
