Bride-elect Honoured
Members of the staff of tho Wellington city engineer’s department assembled recently to bid farewell to Miss I. V. McKenzie, daughter of Mr and Mrs W. McKenzie, of Palmerston North, of tho records branch, who is leaving to bo married. Congratulatory speeches were made by the city engineer, Mr G. A. Hart, the assistant city engineer, Mr F. N. Thompson, Mr M. J. Casey, and N. A. Grant. Miss McKenzie was presented with a canteen of cutlery and a dinner service, tho present being accompanied with all good wishes for her future. The wedding will take place in Palmerston North, but Miss McKenzie’s future homo will be in Timaru.
