ST. GEORGE BEAT DEVONPORT AUCKLAND, Sept. 23. In a splendid game at League football at Carlaw Park, the St. George, Sydney, club team defeated Devonport, the local champions, by 19 points to 8. Conditions were excellent and the attendance 12,000.
