It was resolved that the organiser (Mr. Donald Al'cDonald) bring down a full report on a suggested plan of campaign to the next meeting on Tuesday.

Each committee, it was decided, should have its own banking account and that there be a central account for common funds under the name of the Central Relief Committee.

All business organisations in the area are to be circulated asking that the consent of employees be obtained to contribute Id a week off wages. Such amounts would be credited to any particular queen or direct to the central executive.

Business firms arc to be asked not to donate goods for any particular purpose. Air. W. T. Day’s offer to act as secretary was accepted and Air. J. 8. Larcomb is to be asked to act as treasurer.

AH advertising or printing is to be done through the central office. Tickets and printing is to be done by tender through the central executive. Appeals arc all to be arranged through the executive to avoid clashing of dates. No committee is to commence raising funds until Monday. At noon each day the colours of the various queens are to bo hoisted on a flagstaff in the Square and arranged to show the positions of candidates. A barometer, showing the rising total of the funds is also to be erected on Messrs. Goldfinch and Cousins' verandah.

It vra.s advised by Mr. Black that, through Mr. J. Minton, the gatekeeping staff at the Showgrounds had offered their services gratis for any function.

Votes for the queens are to be count cd as one for each penny received.

Other miscellaneous matters were dealt with and finalised.
