Generally Fair Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. An anti-cyclone covers the greater part of Australia and extends over the North Tasman, while a series of slight low pressure waves has been moving across the South Tasman and Southern New Zealand.
Winds: Westerly backing soon to southerlies and freshening somewhat. Seas (New Zealand waters): Rather rough north of Farewell Spit and about Foveaux Strait, elsewhere moderate.
Eastern Tasman Sea: Moderate to fresh south-west winds and moderate seas. Weather: Still generally fair, but some scattered showers are likely, mainly on tho coast arid in places with a westerly aspect. Temperatures becoming cooler.
