Large Tracts of New land in the Arctic
DISCOVERY BY RECENT DANISH EXPEDITION United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. Received Sunday, 7 p.m. LONDON, Sept. 23. The Times’ Copenhagen, correspondent says that Dr. Lange Koch, who has returned from his Greenland expedition, believes that the chain of mountains observed by Colonel Lindbergh forms part of a much longer chain, .traversing Greenland from north to south. He believes that the chain continues under the Arctic as far as Spitzbcrgen.
Dr. Koch’s ship travelled to Norskc Island, whence various flights disclosed large tracts of new land.
